Beer Tent & Food

The Bash beer tent is a place to get out of the sun and drink reasonably-priced adult beverages, as well as get a view of all of the weekend's music! Stop next door at one of the many Bash food vendors and pair that drink with a delicious meal, snack or dessert!


Backlot Art Fair

Saturday & Sunday, August 23–24

12–6 p.m. –– On the Village Green, just south of the main stage and east of the library, browse the fine work of local artists!


Skokie Heritage Museum & Log Cabin

Friday, August 22

5:30–6:30 p.m. –– “Why2K Exhibit Opening” Celebrate the grand opening of Skokie's 2000 time capsule and our newest exhibit exploring iconic pop culture from the Millennium era. $10 fee per person. Register for this event.

Saturday & Sunday, August 23–24

12-4 p.m. –– Museum open to visitors.

10-11 a.m. –– Historic Downtown Skokie Walking Tour Register for this event.

Skokie Farmer's Market

Sunday, August 24

7:30 a.m.-noon –– This weekend, in or adjacent to the west parking lot of the Skokie Public Library, Skokie's famous, fabulous, fantastic Farmers' Market, celebrating more than a quarter century of operation, presents farmers and vendors from Illinois, Indiana, Michigan and Wisconsin. Skokie is proud of this community event and its fresh vegetables, fruits, cheeses and flowers, often picked just hours before being made available to customers.

Rotary Pancake Breakfast

Sunday, August 24

8-11 a.m. –– Does anything sound better on Sunday morning than sausage and thick, delicious pancakes, drowned in hot syrup and butter –– with orange juice and coffee? $10 per person Also for sale: Bloody Marys & Mimosas! Sponsored by the Rotary Club of Skokie Valley.
